Once your group(s) applications have been processed and approved we send you the leasing paperwork within 48 Hours because nobody likes to wait! We give groups a 3 day review period of our lease agreement as well as ask that the deposit be paid before management can countersign and truly take the home off of the market, unless otherwise agreed upon with management in writing. A written checklist will be provided to you on move-in day as well as sent to you digitally ahead of time (more details below!)
Citizen Home Solutions offers a free move-in concierge service to set up your utilities,
including water, gas, electricity, cable, internet and security. Using Citizen Home
Solutions is required to ensure timely setup and compliance with your lease,
guaranteeing uninterrupted service from your move-in date.
• Step 1: Register Your Account: https://www.movewithcitizen.com/resident/ACP-Properties to access our Move with Citizen digital platform. Citizen Home Solutions will assist you in setting up your utilities and services.
• Step 2: Utility/Service Setup and Bill Evaluation: Citizen Home Solutions will evaluate the best options for your address. Avoid setting up services on your own; let Citizen take care of everything for you.
• Step 3: Validate Your Utility Setup: After the completion of your utility orders, upload your account/confirmation numbers and any relevant documentation through the Move with Citizen portal. Your property manager requires this to verify your utility setup.
Citizen Home Solutions will contact you about your utility activation to meet
your move-in date. They will attempt to reach you up to three times via phone,
text, and email. Please watch for their communication.

Moving is always stressful and here at ACP we try and make it as simple as possible! Your move-in packet will be sent to you ahead of your move-in so we are completely transparent in our process and what we expect of you. Included in that packet is your checklist where damages done outside of your tenancy may be notated so we don't accidentally charge you upon your vacating of the property! We ask that we receive a copy of that completed checklist back 3 days after commencement of your lease, either by coming by our office, sending in photos of each page or scanning and emailing that over to us. We don't expect you to find all damages upon entry so that is why we giveyou 3 days to continue to update and send us that packet when you are completely satisfied!
The next piece of that packet is our utility information sheet. If you prefer to not use the free service notated above, we provide this info sheet so you may contact and set up those services on your own time, prior to move in. Utilities are expected to be set up to start first day of the lease and to be in your name prior to ACP relinquishing any further move-in details to you.
To further simplify the process for our new groups, we have enacted a lockbox system for our move-ins. Lockboxes will be placed on front doors that aren't already a keyless entry so move-in day is set at your pace! Codes for these lockboxes are not provided until all move-in charges are paid. We ask that these lockboxes not be removed from the doors, so we may come by and collect these for our other locations!
